AMB 2024 picking up speed

AMB is the marketplace and the meeting point for the metal machining industry

Commitment by the industry affirms the importance of the exhibition | Registration phase for 2024 has started | Early-bird price up until the end of June 2023

AMB, International Exhibition for Metal Working, will also again live up to its reputation as the leading event for the metal working industry in 2024. This is clearly illustrated by the high level of commitment shown by the industry and the number of registrations that have already been received. A large number of companies, including market leaders and world market leaders, confirmed during AMB 2022 that they would be taking part in AMB in 2024. They therefore expressed their confidence in the event and sent an early signal. "This impressive commitment to AMB fills us with great pleasure and pride. We are confident that we will again experience full exhibition halls from 10 to 14 September 2024," said Sebastian Schmid, Vice President of Messe Stuttgart. "AMB is the international meeting point for the metal working industry and offers exhibitors and trade visitors a unique platform to exchange technical know-how, present the latest technologies and foster business relationships."

Important players already on board
The exhibition areas for 2024 were improved together with the exhibition advisory board in order to create an even better trade fair experience. On a gross exhibition area of around 120,000 square metres the focal points will be machine tools, production facilities, precision tools, measuring systems and quality assurance, software and digitalisation, automation and materials handling systems, parts, components and operating materials, as well as services and warehouse and workshop fittings. Numerous market leaders and world market leaders have already confirmed that they will be taking part in AMB 2024. The following comments clearly indicate the importance of the exhibition for the industry:
• GF Machining Solutions GmbH

"We present our company and our wide-ranging machine tool portfolio every year at a large number of trade fairs and exhibitions. AMB stands out in an even year as the most important exhibition for our company. In Stuttgart we meet a large number of our customers from the metal working industry. We therefore gear innovations, new products and product presentations towards this leading exhibition. The overall AMB package is unique for our company in order to help us achieve our goals: the Who's who in the industry is represented in the Key to Markets. We have therefore already started our planning for AMB 2024. We will present machines, technologies, hardware and digital solutions for industry live in operation. We are already looking forward to discussions and our exhibition highlight in 2024, i.e. AMB 2024," said Christian Jung, Managing Director of GF Machining Solutions GmbH.
• ISCAR Germany GmbH
"AMB is one of the leading exhibitions for the metal working industry. Since we are a manufacturer of precision tools and a specialist in the industry, AMB is an event that ISCAR cannot afford to miss. Attendance at an exhibition has always been synonymous with network cultivation and development of a customer base. Every two years, we look forward to this world leading exhibition where all the professionals from the metal cutting sector meet! AMB features a wide range of information, innovations and talks, and is a platform for valuable discussions and contacts. It is the best place to observe the market, but also obtain direct feedback from trade visitors. Metal working is our passion. Through its attractive programme and its specialist exhibitors and trade visitors, AMB always scores highly and remains an obligatory event where metal working companies or metal processing companies can stay up to date," emphasised Hans-Jürgen Büchner, Managing Director of ISCAR Germany GmbH.
• OPEN MIND Technologies AG

"AMB is a first-class exhibition for our industry and provides an extensive overview of all relevant areas of production. It has therefore been a fixed date in our diary for many years. At AMB visitors can obtain information about the latest technologies for future production. AMB is therefore the ideal platform to present our CAD/CAM solution hyperMILL. Visitors will see here live how they can program and produce more efficiently with the aid of our technologies. We will also naturally use the opportunity to carry out networking and hold discussions with partners and other leading companies in the industry whom we meet at AMB. In conclusion, I can say that we look forward every time to AMB and that it will also be a valuable platform for OPEN MIND in future," said Volker Nesenhöner, CEO of OPEN MIND Technologies AG.

Registration up until 13 October 2023
The registration window for AMB 2024 is open and more than 200 companies have already registered. The quicker the better: exhibitors booking their stand before 30 June 2023 will benefit from an early-bird price for the first time. Allocation of floor space will start on 13 October 2023. This date is also the closing date for registration for AMB 2024. "All registrations which we receive up until 13 October 2023 will be included in the first floor space allocation phase. After that date, the principle of 'first come, first served' will apply to the still available spaces in the specific thematic area," said Schmid.
